Think the problem at the moment is the older members are probably a bit cautious about mixing at the moment, and with good reason. JOhnny Crash used to be around there but I am not sure he is still a member.

Followed Crash and read all your shinanigans long time before I even joined. Wammers was not fond of me adopting his ways.
Never seen him on here once or managed to find him. Probably still trying to fix that pump with wire and gaffa tape

Iirc he was fond of veggie oil and some sort of solvent like methanol.

I look forward to him returning I bet he has much to tell. Try anything that one I admire his spirit. Different to you though in the fact we know your method worked and still goes well. He did have some issues last off

Me? No. I looked at making my own biodiesel but I just don't do the miles to make it worthwhile. A friend used to mix in some veggie oil with a full tank in his Skoda VRS or whatever the diesel sporty one was called. Mind you, he also bolted on a MUCH bigger turbo, added a trace of LPG, nitrous, a bigger intercooler (with methanol mix cooling spray) and remapped it. Unfortunately the engine went bang, although it went damn fast (for its engine size) for about a year or so before it did.
