Been crawling around the T'internet for a while looking for ways to upgrade my system without falling down the slippery slope of after market stuff like ive done in the past....

CDT/Rockford/AA Havoc Mondeo Build - Sound Deadening & Fabrication - Talk Audio

I was originally thinking high line classic set-up but struggled to find parts but now im thinking of sticking the top-end P38 system in ? Is it doable and what parts do I need ?

Twenty year old head unit that only plays radio and cassettes unless you pay to have it upgraded with an ipod lead, big amp to go in boot, four more amps to fit into the doors, matching speakers, some way of mounting all the amps and the speakers. Oh, and a fair bit of wiring.

Now anything is possible but why? Oh why????

Fit a decent headunit, some better speakers in the doors and put a small all in one amp/sub in the boot and it'll probably work wonders for the sound quality. I did this to my D2 and very pleased with the outcome ;)

Can't think of a good reason to stick p38 sound in a classic, except for some really weird form of masochism. Much more grief than any sane person needs-check out us p38ers changing it to something more up to date and simpler! A decent new head unit+speakers and sub and you're sorted
