had a look of that earlier, sounds long winded to follow step by step for a total novice 1st time go at it and all all round right ball ache ?

i need to ponder the options

this fella says £190 drive in drive out inc removal,re trim, re fit , doesnt sound too bad at all ? although a bit of a journey

Range Rover Classic, P38, Headlining Retrimming service, Defender, Discovery | eBay

edit- although 250 for a new oem one is probably better ?

whats a p38 like without the lining in ? is it sort of ok/fine to drive round for a few days/week like that ? , i think somke sort of diy re trim or someone cheapish is wiser maybe , its a non sunroof model too so prob a bit easier than a sunroof jobby ?

Remove old headlining very carefully, hoover any "dead" foam, spray with "best quality" carpet adhesive with Help from another person put back carefully..keeping hands spotless is important, once in place flatten carefully with a "damp" rag and if done as I said ..."PERFECT" dont rush...did my RR 5 years ago still A! and has been to Spain 5 times too..
