P38 Over run / rumbling / vibration at 70 mph

Hi peeps,
Please could someone suggest a solution. I have a mint condition p38 been serviced by LR since new. At 70 mph I have an over run / rumbling sound when power is applied / removed but only at 70 mph disappears at 68 mph ish and again at 71 / 72 ish?? Help :) Thanks

Can only suggest you take a look at the propshafts.
 
Sounds like harmonic resonance. There's a a lot of mechanicals all turning about under a Rangie, and a few will vibrate at certain frequencies related to road speed. To remove these noises, Land Rover even fitted harmonic dampers (those big round heavy lumps of metal bolted underneath), but doesn't always cure them. My old P38 would do what yours does, but only at 68mph and stopped at 71. Never did cure it (changed bearings, hubs, diffs etc), and it didn't get worse. Not saying you don't have something worn though.
