Hi All
Could anyone out there please help i have a 2001 4.6 vouge (lpg)
i know only to well they have there share of problems but have spend a small fourtue over the years getting things put right i.e. vented drilled discs and uprated pads all round full stainless exhust new arnott air bags all round new compressor recon. box new radiator new oil cooler + all pipe work k&n filter magnecor red leads new air con rad + a few others. The engine is now overheating very quickly the top hose is pressurised, its down the garage now and they have tested the water system and all seems fine the gas has been disconnected to make sure its not anything to do with that it has had the head test about 5 times today and the test does not show any probs i.e. head gasket cracked head or porous block the water pump is working the thermostat seem fine there is a flow back from the radiator if anyone has any ideas i would appreciate them i feel like i am banging my head against a wall cheers Tiny:doh:

My 2000 4.6 Vogue had similar issues. A long story short - it turned out to be a slipped liner. The fix - a new engine! But, like you, I'd already done so much to the RR that it would've been crazy to scrap it all!
Good luck....
