Hi
Looking for a guide to a problem that I have with a 98 p38 4.6 .I brought the vehicle to an auto electrician who has the old Land Rover diagnostic tool.He told me that he could not get a reading from the ecu . I got an identical functioning second hand ecu for the gems engine and he programmed it to the vehicle but later could still get no reading . I know that there is a misfire In at least two cylinders and it starts no problem from cold but cuts out when hot . I replaced the fuse board no joy . Do I need to address the misfire before I can do any electrical investigations ?
Vehicle locks and all gauges function
-Any help appreciated .
