Given that L322 EAS pumps don't have the same poor reputation as P38 ones I began wondering........dangerous I know! I know that they are physically different shapes and would need brackets making up, but are they electrically similar? Does anyone have enough knowledge of both types to have a view on whether the newer one could be used to replace the older one? or is there a pump from another motor that could be used, that's more hard wearing?

rangerovers.net had some substitutions-when looking round, also make sure what every you choose has a thermal cut out
