Hi, I'm Brian. I'm a Londoner, currently in Kiambu, Kenya. Having tired of many years in live music production, promotion, running a big nightclub/ concert hall, all of which interfered with my restoring/driving/playing with classic cars, I'm now having a great time tearing around Kenya in my jolly green p38 giant, aka the Wrong Raver. Its a petrol, 4.0 V8 on raised coils, currently on 68k miles. Yes I know, amazing but true. I just found this site after being frustrated trying to post on the American .net site. This one seems a bit more friendly & accessible.
I'm having problems with overfueling. Missfiring, little power, wet plugs, smoke, I've cleaned the fuel filter, replaced coils, plugs and ht leads, cleaned the maf sensor (its got 5 volts). Started 3 weeks ago now its very bad. Any suggestions please?

Thanks Dave. I'll take it to a reliable local garage tomorrow, they've got basic diagnostic gear. I'll get them to check everything including the 02 sensors. The fuel cap went missing recently, I'm waiting for a replacement to arrive, could it's absence have any bearing on this problem?
