p38 help

hi every one been trying to get my p38 to start now for a month new intank pump new injectors had computer pluged in for engine codes etc all back in sync but there is only one heater plug working out of the six but still no fuel to injectors could this be why there is no fuel to injectors please help.

hi mate id do heater plugs first thats just me.

Think you have been told how to do this. Heater plugs need to be fully functional to give you a chance. Have you looked at stop valve?

yeah start stop ive checked and the live to it in tank fuel pump new injectors computer as coded it back up all faults wiped etc... only prob ive found is heater plugs are giving off 1 amp on 5 plugs and one is giving the full shabang ill try some plugs but there should be diesel to injectors still surely...

That would be a really good call for a petrol but diesels don't have them as far as i am aware.

I thought mine had one, but I'll have to check to be sure

Not read your other thread so i dont know if you have tried already, but are you getting voltage to the stop solenoid on the fuel pump when the ignition is turned on?

Don't think you'll find one.

My DSE has the fuel cut valve or, at least, it has a small space on the right side footwell for it

have you got fuel up to your hi pressure pump on engine?i know its not good to use but try some easy start,done injectors on 3.0 x5 and wouldnt run no matter how much i bled them, a scoosh of easy start to get it going and was fine,started no probs after that.worth a try

It might have a space for it but they are not fitted to diesels. Well not according to Land Rover but what do they know. Look up V8 fuel system in RAVE then look for inertia fuel cut off, see write up on it. Then look up fuel system for BMW diesel engine and look for inertia fuel cut off. Ain't there.
