p38 heating problem

Hi,
Just got my 2nd p38 and it doesn't seem to be blowing out hot air.... and it stinks! Probably need to change filters but what could cause the thing not to heat up? Water levels ok, heating matrix?

also looking to get it converted to lpg it's 4L v8, any suggestions where to get a good kit with a small budget? thanks

disconnect and flush out the matrix....dont know the setup on a rangie but prob worth blowing any crap out of the matrix fins as well and check for air leaks......know nothing about LPG

where exactly is the heating matrix?

Suggest you don`t touch the HEVAC without reading up a bit first. Look for threads on "blend motors". The matrix could be hot but the air isn`t being blown thro them into the car. Trust nowt wrong on HEVAC display. Are fans responding when in manual mode? Looking at pollen filters good first move as they`re often overlooked.

Pollen filters crossedmy mind earlier on, just back at the house to take them out?think i've found where they are........ 1 on either side just below the wipers? there's 2 philips screws holding each cover in place, is that the right place?

Pollen filters on a P38 seem to clog really easily.

Owned my car 18 months and have changed them 3 times now (and I've replaced the plenium intake foam twice) because I have to park under a tree that seems to shed bits all the time...

Does'nt look like they've been changed in years!!!
