p38 gearbox

would a 4lt auto petrol have same gearbox as a 2.5 diesel ?

hi item number on e bay : 270550581195 . If it sells for near its price as now £550.00 is it worth buying as a spartes or breaker for my rr and my dads rr . he has a knackered 2,5 diesel with numerous problems and i have a 4.6 hse petrol with no doubt problems coming , i know are 3 different types of rr but is it goin to be worth the purchase for all the bits that will swap ? cheers .

Really !? i have spent twice that on bits recently , abs pump , fuse box , radius arm , becm , relays , compressor pump , water pump, tail gate struts , bulbs , dash clocks , clear lights etc etc
