hi guys, i'm new to the forum and hope one of you more technically minded people could help me out(i'm a welder!) the problem is this.. when i accelerate from a standstill in D it changes from 1st to 2nd fine but then seems to change back to 1st back to 2nd back to 1st etc. it does this between all gears. it seems to be throttle position related as if i accelerate gently on a light throttle it changes fine . also if i floor it it also shifts fine 1 2 3 4 any ideas greatly appreciated?

Apparently not. I think someone should tell Ashcraft transmissions though thats what they recommend doing for the same symptoms.

hi, have a similar fault my p38 will not change up until it gets to 5000 rpm . could any one tell me where the tps is p38 1994 4.6 L cheers rich ps new to this stuff.
