Hello I have a 1997 p38 with several problems that could be related but am not sure. Firstly the heater a/c control doesn't work, the LCD screen light comes on but no information is visible and none of the controls work. Also the sunroof does not work , there is no power up to the motor, fuse ok though, finally the sterio doesn't work. Any help will be gratefully recieved

After the mammoth response I received to the question I decided to remove the becm myself and take a look. I found that relay 7 on the top board was registering an open circuit on the coil. All I had to do was remove the relay, remove the cover of the relay then resolder the wire that had come loose from one of the pins that energises the coil. Job done HEVAC working again.
