p38 eas takes 50 mins to go up

Hi,
New member,living in bulgaria.
Have 1997 2.5 dt. Height drops overnight(worse in very cold wheather).
Then start car have to wait apx 50 mins for suspension to inflate.
Have new bags and checked for leaks,once its up works fine all day. Took it to RR dealer and told me i need new valve block(£2,000 here). Have a mate here with same car, borrowed his block and driver, swapped with mine, same problem with this one.
Found that when compressor runs,air coming from exhaust port. Checked diaphram not cracked bit dirty but looks ok.
Anyone have any other ideas.

Worn compressor seals, or maybe the driver module if the exhaust is staying open, pressure switch is also a possibility. Otherwise as the dealer said a worn valve block, get yourself an overhaul kit, look at rangerovers.net for more info.

Think il borrow mates compressor(only 3 months old),try this first and take it from there.
RR dealer only in bulgaria for 2 years, not a lot of experience yet.

Can't be worse than the UK, they have forgotten about the P38, thats if they ever knew anything about it in the first place:doh:
