Hi- I'm new to P38 ownership (2000 - 4.0 SE/29k miles) and up until last week was really enjoying my new toy. Then the EAS fault appeared and the dash lights came on with the vehicle stuck in high mode - on investigation & £85 lighter in pocket! I was informed that the "outlet valve is perm open" and it will probably cost circa £1500 to fix requiring a new block!! - once the EAS was reset it worked fine for 5 days then the fault re-appeared.
I live in the Dudley area (West Mids) can anyone recommend a fix from their own experiences or an independant specialist for the EAS or the P38/RR, close to home, as the main agent was only interested in changing the valve block & not 100% sure this was the problem!
