Agh help.Fitted new suspension compressor to my P38 it came with new mountings and the retaining nuts were just nipped up so as not to distort mounting internal brass bush.Whenever compressor is working getting hellish vibration moreso when sitting idling and its doing my head in.There were dished washers either side of the mountings are these supposed to be fitted or has someone else fitted these??Would appreciate any solutions.

You have overtightened the nuts - the reason they are lock nuts is because they don't get "nipped up", just slacken them off a bit and the vibration will disappear
And yes, the domed washers are meant to be there - just chack you have hem the right way round
