p38 Diesel Leaky Master Injector Headscratcher.

My 1997 P38a DT has just failed its MOT for leaking diesel. Having traced the leak back to the master injector I have replaced or reconditioned the following items:

Leak off pipe.
Injector to injector pump pipe.
Injector rebuilt with new centre.
Cleaned head to injector mating faces.
New copper washer between head and injector seat.

Still it leaks.

I can't think where else it could be coming from apart from up the hole where the wire comes through. Has anyone encountered a problem like that before?

What else have I missed?

Yes number four injector can leak round the cable that goes into it ..

Could a decent diesel man repair it?

No if it leaks you need a new one.
