I foolishly took the 6 month mot extension and now have to fix the warning lights and get the MOT, why I didn't do this all before? Ahhh! Last winter I replaced the strg hub ball joints, the sensors had to be drilled out and brit part ones were fitted, the reluctor ring on the RH side was cracked open and I replaced it with an ebay ring, I think maybe the amount of rust under the reluctor ring when cleaned up possibly means it does not spin exactly accurate so I will replace the complete lot this time.
I did have it plugged in back in Feb which said sensor/signal and he got under there and tapped the sensor in a little more and reset it but it only lasted 5 mins and the lights and warnings came back.
My question is I fitted brit part sensors and copper bushes but the sensors were as tough as hell to push in and I don't see that the reluctor rings could push them back out they were tight. So is there a preferred bush/sleeve to buy and should it be an easy push fit of the sensor?

if you have a Nanocom is any chance you could do a live drive test as it might be the sensor faulty and not the copper bushes holding them in place

LH bearing and CV joint is new, RH is old but I think I will replace it as I am going to change the CV to get the correct reluctor ring and that way I will have a good set both sides.
I have to change a front brake hose as well as I have just seen it has been rubbing and is worn so hopefully can do all this at the same time.
I don't have it checked by my local 4x4 garage and it showed up as the front LH which had the new set up so maybe it is just the sensor that side, that's the side I have to do the brake hose on so will check it all again.

Changed the front left brake hose that had partly rubbed through, this side had all the new parts but had shown as the issue, the sensor was tough to get out and had been rubbing on the reluctor ring, checked to ring it was ok. removed the copper coloured sleeve and could see the rust in the housing was the reason for the sensor being so tight gave it a clean up with a burr and fitted it all back together the sensor pushed in just right and after turning the hub a couple of times I could just push it back in a smidger so it was setting its own air gap properly. Tested and it all reset straight away, first time in ages with no warning lights and MOT passed yesterday. Next on the list is rear diff pinion seal that's leaking slightly.
