p38 cooling issues sorted

hi its me again!

thanks to hooded claw for your help!

got my problem sorted on overheating on my p38 2.5dt, what had happened was when i replaced my new engine or old new engine i didnt flush it and it clogged up my new rad dang it!
so got new one problem sorted. just one question i checked my pipes on the top of my rad after another successful journey and they seem very hard i know this is a pressuresied system but how hard should the pipes be.

I just went out & checked mine .... I can "Squeeze" mine in maybe ....5mm so Yeah they do get pretty hard

Aaron, I know its a hard thing to do but ... just way up the +'s against the -'s

Heres yer +'s

a. Yer gauge is "Centred"

b. Yer NOT losing Water

c. you aint "Boilin over"

d. Its "Runnin Sweet"

And heres yer -'s

a. eerrr Nowt

b. Errr Nowt

c. Errr Nowt

d. Errr Nowt

As with any job .......... STEP BACK & go thru it Step by Step ...... if yer +'s outway yer -'s ....THEN IT DON'T NEED DOIN!!!!

cheers keith, great reply haha! yeah about 5mm is about the same as mine, i have taken your advice and leaving it if its not broken leave it. really appreciate all your help its saved a flippin fortune mate. hopefully i wont be on here to much more!
cant believe cause i didnt flush my replacement engine out it wrecked my new rad ha ha £130 quid anyway its all good now
