P38 coolant leak

Got to look over a mates 2000MY 4.0 P38 tomorrow night as it developed a coolant leak near the bulkhead (viewing drips on ground). Just a steady drip-drip, but when driving it loses it quicker and you have to stop to top it up after about 40 minutes. Half 10 at night an it's a bit dark, but I think it's heater matrix hoses. Going to print orf the relevant bits of Rave2 at work tommorrow, but the question is, is this a real bastard of a job like with gaylanders or can it be accessed from the engine compartment/underneath?
