Ok i only asked.

Pull the sun visors down and check if the headliner is damp. Mine suffers from that when it rains. Suspect a blocked sunroof drain. Running the aircon does a great job of drying her out.

for the record my aircon works too now I had a problem with the door rubbers on the drivers door at the base it was basically fooked by getting in and out and kicking **** out of it and when I went through a decent sized puddle it would seep a bit so have a look there as well

A decent sized puddle. If it reaches the bottom of the doors it's a pond.

tailgate seal??

Just noticed the spare wheel well is damp in mine, after its been parked up for just over 2months, so this is the rear door seal so where is the best place to get one??

they are about 90-100 quid brand new! if you find a good second hand one i would go for that.

Leaking tailgate seal is a known issue follow the directions in technical service bulletins to sort it. You have to bend the seal flange out 5mm.

Technical service bulletins are contained in RAVE. Well worth a read through for lots of common problems. The one your after is #0011. L8403bu. Issue 1. Dated 18-03-98. Tailgate water ingress.
