toying with the idea of upgrading to clear lenses,is it a straight forward job?also got the light guards to remove 1st.

easy to do but light guards can be a pig to get off

My 51 plate has clear lenses and for the last 2 mots i have had to put new orange bulbs in all around as it has failed on the orangyness fading. anyone else come across this? or has the tester got shares in lucas orange bulbs?

no its pretty common on all cars. bulbs get hot and the film either flakes or fades
