hi to all,i need some help with my p38,the central locking when in the unlocked mode starts to lock then unlock all doors exept the drivers,this does not happen all the time but its often enough to wind me up,as the rr is a lovely peacefull drive otherwise...can anyone help thanks.

Hi johnr, if all the doors are unlocked, when you lock the drivers door from the inside using the button on the door, do all the others doors lock, and when you lift the button to unlock, does the drivers door unlock?
i had exactly the same problem turned ot to be the tailgate one side was not latching properly cured mine by adjusting the catch,next time it starts to go mad pull over open and close each door and tailgate it has to be done seperatly only do one each time you stop make sure you push them shut hard and push the lower tailgate in both sides one of them should stop it then you will know which one

agreed, i had the same issue on my last P38
Was only on one side of the tailgate though, assume they just fall out of sync with use.

Similar problem with mine as well. On mine all the doors suddenly lock apart from the passenger door. I assume its a sticky lock and once I get the car back from the garage 
then I'll take it out and greese it up.
