p38 cam belt cost??

Hi

My wife is looking at a 2.5dse 1998 S Rangie to add to our collection and the only thing that always bothers me about getting a new motor is the cambelt. Any one had one changed recently and can you remember a rough price?? Ive not had any quotes yet and I think were going to have a look at it tommorow.

V8s are chain drive, weren't the Beemer diesels on a belt?

nah bmw's are always chain. Ive just been building one to put in my 2.5.
