hi all ive noticed that if i push the brake pedal hard and fast that the handbrake, abs and tc light all flash up for a split second and this morning was sat still for approx 15 mins with car running and the lights came on and then said (traction overheat) but the brakes seem to be fine and lights went of when started driving has anyone got any ideas as being my family car i dont want it to be unsafe also my heaters do not work properly and there is warm air coming from the top vents but cold going to your feet and cant change the air going to your feet on the switches have had a read and could this be faulty blend motors ????

Have you checked the brake fluid level recently? Try cycling fans with switches sometimes they stick. Otherwise sounds like blend motors would be a reasonable bet.

could you tell me how i check the cycling fans ???and also will check the fluid tomoz and where is the switch on these thanks people

The distribution switches, just switch them one to the other a few times. Sometimes the flaps just stick.

set em to blow out at your feet for your next trip, after a few mins set em back to blow at the screen, keep repeating it over and over and if you are lucky they will start working again, if not ya need new blend motors. do a search on here, you will find loads about em:D

even if i put them to blow on the screen you can hear it change slightly but always blows cool air on my feet wherever the switch is set to is this because of the problem you have mentioned?? and how many times should i repeat it befor i give up ??

have topped up brake fluid and still the lights come on for a split second any more ideas of the cause for this??? also seemed to have the heaters blowing where they should now after switching about for a bit but still dont blow as hot as they should i think any ideas of what to try next
