wow

well anyways ive changed me my changed my turbo as that seemed to be low boosting and swilled out the intercooler with petrol removing any oil build up in it and now the car seems to be off, drop down engaging as it should

well it seems all is not ok with the rangey.had it out today with a trailer on the back weighing 1300kg and as soon as i got going over 50mph it boiled its water up and cut out, left to cool topped water back up and got going again, soon as i got upto speed again it boiled water up again so again i let engine cool down and topped water back up. rest of journey was 30-40mph roads and when i got to my destination it hadn't used any water.did the same roads home with trailer on but stuck 40mph and again didn't use a drop of water

what can the problem be????

Covered many times, viscous fan, water pump, stat or RAD, viscous fan would be my bet.

tried the wedging something in the fan trick and it puts up no fight so im guessing its foo barred, will change water pump whilst im in there just to make sure

water pump and fan changed all seems to be good, only problem i have now is when blowers are on lo setting they keep blowing hot

yes what do i need to do to cure this?

Depends on what's wrong with them...technically they are a non-serviceable item and would need to be replaced but if you are handy and careful you could open them up and clean them out....

Trouble is they are buried under the dash on either side of the heater box....Two on the right hand side (top one for air distribution, lower one for Right Hand Temp control) and one on the left for left hand temp control.

The Left hand one is reasonable to get to if you take the glove box out and remove the passenger air bag....

The drivers side is more involved, the official procedure is for the whole dash to come out, but there are some great shortcut methods on the net if you search for them....instrument binnacle and lower dash surround out, then careful cutting of the plastic ducting that runs over the top of them to get to the mounting screws...

Not easy, but doable!

Get it on diagnostics first to see why they have failed....sometimes using diagnostics to cycle them can reset them, but more often than not, they will need to be taken out and replaced!
