Hi all

Sorry to start a thread on something that I'm sure has been covered a million times but I'm limited on the time I have to search the web

I recently bought a 1996 p38 dse, it's going ok but after I left it for 2 days the suspension dropped all round, it didn't happen after it had been sat for 1 nite.

How to I go about diagnosing the problem?

Also, when I'm sat at idle I can hear what I'm assuming is the air compressor turning on and off, it's coming from the near side of the dash, is this correct? Should I be able to hear the compressor or is it a sign that its on its way out?

Cheers in advance

You have an air leak mate,do a search for the soapy water test.
Also there is a nice man called Datatek on here who can sell you the software and a lead for you EAS for about !!quid plus postage,BARGAIN!!!

You have an air leak somewhere find it. Get the cable and software from Keith. You will need a laptop to run it. Then you can sort your own problems out as you learn. EAS is pretty basic when you get into it.
