P38 air ride problems !!!!!

My dse has started playing up suspention wise !!!

Where she normaly starts up and self levels , and the dash light stops flashing !
Now she starts and just sits with the low & the level light flashing ????
When I drive up the rd she sorts her self out and the light stops flashing and she is all settled !!!
I don't know much , but I'm hopeing that the pump is fine as it does go up and the bags are good as they also stay up !

So where do I look from Here ? Any help would be most appriciated as I know nothing about these motors ?

first thing to do spray airbags with soapy water n look for bubbles...

Leaking airbags has got to be the most likely cause if they are original. Do the soapy water spray test and look for bubbles. Remember leaks if left will shag the compressor.

I saw exactly the same symptoms on my P38 about 3 days before the pump packed up. Once I get my pump replaced I will be doing the soapy bubble thing to check out what the root cause was. I don't know if my pump just packed in or if it had been working overtime compensating for a leak.

well so far she has stayed up and not messed about to much !
i have orderd a eas lead and diagnostic kit to see whats wrong and a set of emergancy valves incase the pump fails on me !
