I've been trying to get car gassed but now using a machine it has a few leaks 1 being behind dash and going by location of evaporator I wondered if anyone has managed to remove dash mat and were did is has anyone made like an access panel in there and if so can you get to evap o rings??

No future in going through the top, there's a duct right under. So the leak behind the dash is refrigerant, or coolant?

The only O'ring connection to the evaporator is the expansion valve and that can be removed to replace O'rings from under the hood or bonnet whichever takes your fancy.

I see the system I was also wondering my txv valve has a plastic cover on right with like foam in it, is that correct, valve seems to move freely but should it be filled with like foan?

Without going to look can't remember that on mine. There is a clamp holding HP and LP pipes to expansion valve that needs to be removed, then two screws to remove expansion valve. There are O'rings on pipes and O'rings expansion valve to evaporator. They are the only things that can leak unless of course the evaporator has failed. If you need to remove the evaporator you will have to remove dash and heater unit. Evaporator cannot be removed with heater in situ. .
