P38 4.6HSE autobox problem

I've had the car for 11 months and it had previously had a new gearbox fitted, which until now has been fine. Recently an intermittent fault has turned into a permanent one. Drives fine but will only start in 'neutral', when selecting 'park' the 'reverse' indicator light stays on but the car is not in reverse. Select '1st' and light for '2nd' shows, this happens in both high and low range. Have done a search on here but can't find the answer, most grateful for any help.

Selector cable adjustment, or the quadrant has come loose.

Thanks for the quick reply Datatek, how simple is the fix? I'm a complete numpty with anything technical should have stopped off and let you do it when I went through Poitiers recently on my way to Bergerac.

With pleasure If you have RAVE, you can see the parts and the adjustment. Not hard but you will have to get under the beast.
