My 99 4.6 145k miles has started smoking at start up. Its not loosing any coolant so its not water looks a bit bluey and is using alot of oil.
Any ideas? I'm guessing its rings? it only happens while the engine is cold and in the first couple of hundred yards of driving. As soon as its warm it is fine, just did 250 miles and it only did it when pulling away from home.
