4.0 v8 96 spec - 180k on the clock now, had a few things replaced, like the water pump/etc in the past few months. Other week, the car overheated and leaked coolant all over the floor.
What could a novice check to see if it's headgasket? ive looked under the oil cap and seen no mayo.
Plus its been driving fine, no loss of power.no smoke, no using of water too Anyone in Newcastle area, recomend a good friendly garage? thats willing to come pick it up and sort the problem? or even someone willing to make a few £ and come diagnose the fault on my driveway.
all i can presume its maybe old pipes gone and leaked, thermastat gone, maybe the radiator, but cant point out what since my knowledge isnt too good with these engines.
