Just bought a p38 and the front tyres are quite worn and are a full road tyre.

Anybody had any experiance with Toyo open country AT tyres.

Its between these and General AT2's.

I currently run AT2's on a freelander.

The toyo look a little more road than the at2's.

I don't do any proper offroad. Just grassy/muddy fields and snow.

It worries me that the at2's won't be good enough on the road with so much power.

Thanks

I don't know about those but I always run on Pirelli Scorpion ST. Never let me down and great grip on wet grass, managed to pull a 7.5 tonne lorry out without even a slip :) always be my tyre of choice. Hope that helps.

I hadn't considered st's, i think they have been replaced with str's.
There a bit more expensive.
Toyo's £104 each
AT2's £121
STR £163
I would imagine that they are better on the road. Are they a 70% road 30% offroad.

Thats strange. just been and checked my tyres and theyre Scorpion ST's and i bought them 2 weeks ago.... Im not sure which percentage they are but i generally just point and shoot and they havent let me down yet. but i always stick to what i know, that way i dont often get caught out because im used to what they can handle
