When you run it up how do you know the bendix clutch is not knackered? With the refurb you get a starter that may last ten years, that's a tenner a year. For a tenner you may get one that lasts ten minutes or that runs connected to a battery but when fitted won't turn the engine. Matter of preference i suppose.
