Hi can anyone help please. I am asking for help on behalf of my dad.
Ok here goes. My dad owns a 1997 p38 Range rover 2.5 DSE auto (bmw engine)
The problem is after getting new starter motor fitted, once you start engine it just revs and doesn't idle, also the rev counter isn't working and engine management light is on ( yellow y on dash). Has anyone had same problem or know what's causing this any help would be grateful.
Just to recap.
1. Once started the engine revs and won't idle
2. The rev counters isn't working
3. EML is in ( yellow fork on dash)
4. Engine power is Definetly down
Please please help I feel as if I m going potty
