Hi, I have the abs/tc fault lamp fault which comes on at random intervals. if I turn off the ignition, the system self tests correctly ,and the lamps go off.The brakes are in good order and the abs works (tested on gravel) am I right in thinking that the tc is only on rear wheels (99my) so it will be a sensor on rear axle.,or am I wrong in that assumption. Would a Nanocom be able to tell which wheel the problem was. Thanks Mick

Nanacom may pinpoint the problem but it could also be the brake light switch on the brake pedal out of adjustment and nanacom should pick that up as well

Hi further to the original problem I now have a nanocom and it has stored no faults on the abs, however the values of the sensor units are showing 2.35-2.36-2.35 and 2.27. I am wondering if this small difference is enough to set of the tc/ abs alarm. everything works perfectly well and the alarm trips at very irregular intervals today twice in 6 miles then not at all for 45 miles. any help would be appreciated thanks.

You need to monitor the sensors on live data to see if one is erratic, the last one may be the problem or it's connector.

I dont know if nanacom have fixed the glitch yet but the right rear and the left front sensors on mine were being read as if reversed.

It was doing the same with the Hevac left and right temp controls before the last update.Left moved when right was selected and vice versa. Have not check since then to see if it's been corrected. :);)

Hi, sorry for not getting back sooner, but its too cold for me at the moment. I am convinced now that it is the front R/H sensor that is at fault. I am looking for the connector for this unit but it seems to go under the battery. Do I need to remove the battery or am I missing something. any info gratefully received.Am I better off buying a used land rover sensor,or can anyone recommend a goo supplier. thanks all, Mick
