P A S pump

Hi could any one help me!
My power steering pump on my defender 110, 200tdi keeps squeaking very loudly.
It only happens when you turn the wheel on to full lock both ways, and also when you turn the wheel when not moving. But if i rev the engine when not moving it appers not to happen as much.
Someone said it could just be the belt??
Has anyone else had this problem that could help me resolve it!!!!

it's the belt, check the fluid level as well

Yeh, tighten the belt up.

As above - it will be the power steering belt that needs tightening/replacing. It's dead simple with just 3 bolts to undo, I had to remove mine at the weekend to remove the alternator belt and it was a doddle.
