I am Andreas, German born but I don't let that stop me from loving Landies.

There again what else would I think of 'em after having served in H.M.Armed Forces for 16 years!

All about me if interested is in my profile, so I won't be repeating myself.

I am up for a little bit of laning as well as the occasional off-road jaunt, but for the time being I would have to tag along with well equiped people as I am not in possesion of much kit e.g. prop-jack, inertia ropes or indeed a winch.

I just have my 16 year old Disco fitted with fat Kuomi's on wide 15"ers!

There you go, the mark one German is far more reliable at translation, just a pity all our efforts at 4x4's are all computerized kacke, except of course for Unimogs and pre 90's G-wagen, both made by Merc rather than the dreaded bravo, mike, whiskies!
