overland kit ???

i have a 90 300tdi and ime looking at taking it over africa.

its all sorted on the outside, socks, winch ext all that kinda stuff is dun but ime not shore haw i should go about the inside and a tent. whether i should get a roof tent or a ground one, what things should i get on the inside what i really need and what i really do not.

ide love to here what other people have dun and any suggestion

Whats your intended route????? - What part of Africa - its a big place - you stciking to 'roads' or intending on doing most of it accross dunes / jungle etc etc etc.

Are you happy that a 90 is the best vehicle to take to Africa? I have a 90 300tdi and to be honest a week touring and camping in Scotland is about all I can manage. They don't seem big enough to carry fuel, water, waffle boards, tents, shovels, food, spare wheels and parts etc. and having a roof rack piled high makes them a little unstable.
A 110 would be a better option? A roof tent will cost about £800 and I think most a designed for 110's. Do a search (top right) and see what others have done.
Its a big trip for a 90 and 2 people is your max. Good luck!
