I have had my range rover 4.6 vogue 51 plate since september 2009 with no problems. It suddenly overheated some six weeks ago. There was no apparent gradual loss of coolant prior as this is checked weekly. It seemed that all of the coolant came out of the expansion bottle via the overflow pipe at once. Lifting the bonnet, the expansion bottle was empty and steam was being forced out of the bottle cap. RAC suspected a blocked radiator or faulty thermostat. I have replaced the thermo, water pump and found no rad blockage. All topped back up with coolant and the car has run trouble free for four weeks. Yesterday back to square one. No gradual coolant loss, just all out in one go.

The has an LPG system made by Marini fitted.

Any ideas please
