outside air temp

Been doing a load of faults recently but now have a new one! on start up the hevac states oat to be about 11 deg then slowly counts backwards to -40 as it counts back it up's the heat in the cabin do u think it could be a duff temp probe? or faulty hevac unit?

mine was faulty hvac unit-did exact same behaviour

Easy enough to change the outside temp sensor first and cheaper than the HEVAC unit.
