i didnt post the thread to get peoples backs up,i really do need help with this.the car is booked in at landrovers on wednesday after bank holiday so i will let everyone know how i got on.so can we use this forum for what it is is meant for and not to slag each other off.also as mentioned in previous threads the problem is without the caravan on,the caravan when on the back only exagerates the problem.thanks to all who have replied (poitive and negative)even the caravan haters.

the disco has gone in and hopefully i will have a better one back later.will keep you in the know about the fault when i get it back

Same here bud. V8 disco 1991. 4 berth 18ft caravan (With Alko tow ball stabiliser) Pass lorrys and so on between 70-80mph with no wobble but I can still feel the being sucked towards the lorry bit.

Yella, I take it when you say the bushes are "shagged" you are refering to the Bushes on the panhard rod and radius arm? if not what bushes are you refering to as my disco is doing a similar thing, having replaced the steering damper it has made the problem 80% better but not the whole job.

I was going to suggest a stabiliser problem but without the caravan this sounds serious I tow a Bailey with Disco and Freelander-not a problem

If lorry drivers hate caravaners why don't caravaners hate lorry drivers?
