P38A ouchie door handle mechanism!

so got a bit carried away today and decided to take the door card off (o/s/r) to find the source of an irritating noise when I unlock the car...(imagine something similar to nails on a blackboard!)

so, it all moves as it should, it locks and unlocks as it should, the door handles move as they should, I have no idea whats causing that noise.

Any ideas?

PS. I have some great pictures on my phone regards my valve block rebuild, I cant seem to upload them onto the thread...anybody brave enough to offer advise to a technophobe!

Pics can only upload if they are a certain file size, too big they won’t. Can change it down but I dunno how.

When you try to upload it normally gives you the option of 3 different file sizes

Are you sure its the door mechanism? Have a look/listen to the fuel flap release.

On my PC I use IrvanView. It is free. In the save as options you can reduce quality by 25% and the file size drops by about 90%.
