If you see a P38 towing a very big off road bike on the M1 tomorrow, it's me!!! I can easy chuck it on
the back if anyone fancies a go for the Oct unofficial? I know it's about LR, but it is a beast! Having
said that, if the place we're off to don't like bikes I'll not bother.

I don't want to upset anyone etc.

Did I say it was big......

My god, it is the best plaything i have bought in ages! I(t's a huge beast that sounds like a tank & goes
like a rocket. Handles like a dream too. There was a white 101 on the M1 today, anyones here? Near Derby

I've had a hankering for one of those supermotard things for a while, the
ones like a big trailie/trials bike but on sticky road rubber. They look
serious fun.

Same thing really Austin with the KTM, just swap the wheels & rubber for an instant supermoto! The
problem is, i have no desire to ride on the road & never have had.

I have just started taking this to bits, it is mint, probably done no more than 60-100 hours in it's
life! It's been run on the best oil, the best powershock & it even came with supermoto plastics but no
wheels!

Not bad for £1500, was a very expensive bike new.

Some of the two-wheel-drive bikes look interesting, the Rokon's a big
beast.

The KTM on here uses hydraulic drive to the front wheel, not sure if
that has speed implications, I'd have thought so.

Well round here the only use the chavs have for offroad bikes is to ride
them up and down the pavement impressing there mates, I imagine they would
get lost if they ever took them off the estate.

One of the bike shock absorber companies -- Ohlins perhaps? -- was
showing around a hydraulically <spelling?> -powered front drive unit
that could be added on to most bikes, and I presume that's what KTM was
testing. That's been kicking around for a few years and shows some
promise. I'd love to see one on some of the big on/off road touring
bikes like the BMW GS series.

Nige, congrats on your KTM. Big on/off road motorcycles open up an
entire world of possibilities for adventure, and combining that with an
interest in Rovers demonstrates that you can't be all bad ;)

I've got a few photos and stories of my bikes and traveling in Mexico
and that sort of thing scattered around my website at
http://www.PirateJohn.com. All good, clean fun ...
