One of the complaints i have with Range Rover is the wheel brace supplied with the vehicle.
1 there is not enough leverage
2 the angle of the handle is that it can slip off the nut when slightly worn (especially lock nuts)
for those 2 reasons i always carry a breaker bar and socket as last time i had to change a wheel it was on a mountain track and snowing
So anyone doing trips to out of the way places it is an essential tool to carry.

Last time I had to change a Tyre on the side of the road was 19 years ago. Remember it well as the tyre just exploded. Scared the **** out of me. When i bought my '97 rangie it didn't have a jack and it was about a year before i bought one. Not sure how much I am tempting fate at the moment but I'm off to Heathrow in the morning and Scotland on Friday so will find out.
