Hey everyone;
I'm still very new to this, and trying to get my hands on various parts for my defender 300tdi.
These parts consist of new belts, an egr banking kit, thermostat, filters, timing belt kit, and potentially a ton more.
So my question is, what have you all found is the best place to purchase thes parts from; quality wise, and worth wise.
I've spent some time on craddocks site, and they have very inexpensive parts and really everything i need, but is the quality there?
I've checked out britparts, and same thing.
Finally, i was recently on difflock, but they tend to not have everything i need.
I don't want to be ordering a part from here and another from somewhere else, as i would like to be able to do all my shopping in one place, if it's posssible.
My other concern, i've been reading up on timing belt changes, and i found a guy on ebay that is selling a kit, which includes the two tools to do the job. If you have any info on this character whether it be good or bad, do let me know aswell. Here is a link to his ebay page.

Any help would be much appreciated, and ordering from Land rover directly might be a little too costly for me.
Cheers,
Steve

anything? i willing to order online and have it shipped from the UK, but i need to know the best place to order from?
quality and value.
Cheers,
Steve

I've had a decent experience with lrdirect.com. I'm in the UK for now, but they advertise global shipping, so I plan to use them when I bring my Landy back to the US.

Their site works fine as long as you know the part numbers you want, so look online for a parts catalogue. Otherwise it could be hard to find what you want.

Good thing is, they've got pretty much every part you could imagine listed, usually with several options (including genuine LR plus aftermarket manufacturers).

Bad thing is, they won't tell you if they're not going to bother shipping one of the items you requested. I purchased a bunch of stuff and they left out one item. They didn't charge me for it but it was still an unpleasant surprise.
