You know that problem with "electrolytic corrosion" or rust, on the front wing where the bumper end caps bolt in.
So option 1 replace both wings, one has some unrelated damage so needs replaced anyway.
Option 2 replace the one bashed one and buy an HD bumper that wraps around, one piece and doesn't utilise those holes.
I'm planning a bit of a restoration and respray so I'm hoping to find some salvaged wings that aren't rotten, but they're hard to find up here. Might have to venture down to engerland for a holiday and to find some bits.
Two wings and a drivers door required but it's a pain because the wing design kept being tampered with and the late one I need seems to be the most expensive even for a pattern part.
I think since I plan to have it resprayed (it's a mess) it might be good to go back to completely original since the most I go off road is creative parking.
