Ooops.... I did it again

After a happy few months for a P38 4.0 with very little problems and very little money spent I decided to sell the old girl and vowed not to have a older LR again and decided to plough any spare cash I had into our Freelander 2 and keep it lovely clean and shiney.

However, yesterday i some how managed to buy a R Reg Disco 300 TDI, clean chassis, 6 months tax and MOT and resonably clean bodywork. It just needs a little of fettling. Well, saying a little bit, it needs a new head gasket, battery and a wash and polish.

Hopefully will have it ready to take to Driffield in May.

So here's to having cuts all over my arms and hands again, bruised knees, oil which is impossible to get out of my finger nails and possible divorce proceedings.

Wouldnt have it any other way!!!

Got rid of my Disco 4 years back and got a hold of one a month ago :doh:

Chassis is in mint condition, body is getting some work done to it. Nothing to bad tbh! Just some "uuuusual" issues that 300s have like the rust on the top windows and a little rust on the top parts of the windshield. All getting fixed as we speak.

Electrics are 100% except for a noise from the Air-con. clutch

Striped her apart window seals, carpets, head lining etc. Getting her a total make over... New paint, Under sealant etc.

Hoping to get some pics in here asap. Work is keeping me busy as hell.

... may need to take a look at the steering pump actually. Leaking to much for my taste.

Front end with fenders off. As you can see there is some rust at the seems but nothing major. Taken care of.
