Omg please help before i go mad

Last year i had an over heating problem, it turned out to be the head, and head gasket.i had them all replaced.all has been well untill yesterday grrrrrr.my egine over heated again the water was chucked out of the expansion bottle on the m20.my heating is running cold could this be the thermostat ive changed the water pump with the matal impellor that was last year.the over heating has come all of a sudden.

The rad is hot on 1 side and cold on the other but when i feel the matrix pipes they are both cold ie no hot water getting to the matrix please please please tell me this is the thermostat

Look at the thermostat, the heater pipes should be the first things to get hot.

As wammers says the heater pipes are first to get hot if they are not check your pump also which engine is it

its the 2.5 weasal engine lol.i know the wp is fine as i had that replaced last year with the metal impellor

Doesn't mean it's fine things do break even new things

Especially if it was ****part

Could have had a water leak and its boiled up

I check the coolant level at least once a week and at the moment it is fine. From what you describe if the heater pipe are not hot then either there is no coolant or the pump has failed.
