Old Superwinch 92-52000 - any good?

I cannot see a description with my link, what does the bloke say about it? from the look of it, spares will be unobtainable for the gears, etc. solonoids/starter should be ok to find. seals/bearings will be a universal afair.

£200 is strong money (thats why it didnt sell).

If your serious about it, I would call David Bowyer (Goodwinch) about it, he is sure to have heard/worked/fiddled with it, more so as its a SW. He's a good friendly bloke, worth speaking to. If anyone has any parts for it in the UK it will be him.

Cheers, i shall give him a call. Hadn't intended on paying £200 for it, but thought i'd enquire to what he will let it go for.

The review on the expo portal seemed good, if someone last year was raving about how good it is, for an old winch it can't be too bad :)
 
it's gone anyway.

I was a bit dubious anyway... could quite easily have been stolen, if you look at the items he has for sale they all could be... but then you could say that about a lot of eBayers!
